At mass, we have two communions : communion to the Word of the Lord and communion to his Body. If the first one is easy to understand, the second presents difficulties for many. Still in the Gospel today Jesus is very clear, we can’t misunderstand him. He is telling us beforehand what will take place at the Last Supper. By giving us his own body in this miraculous way, Jesus in us feeds us, makes us partake of his life. Isn’t this the most intimate way of being with us always ?
